26 Feb 3 Ways To Get More Business In Spring | Marketing Strategy
Spring. We are all longing for it. The first day of spring is March 20, and before you know it, the birds will be singing, the snow will melt away and the temperature will be on the rise.
At least that’s what we keep telling ourselves.
Since people will be coming out of hibernation, spring is a key time to start thinking about ways to boost your business. Take advantage of the fact that people are out and about and ready to buy. It’s time to shift your focus to your marketing strategy. Here are a few easy ways to get new customers through your door.
Get some fresh marketing materials.
If you’ve been using the same commercials or ads for the past four years, chances are, your marketing materials have become eyewash. Worried about expense? Don’t be. Chances are, you can leverage the materials you currently have… in a different way. Brochures are becoming obsolete. If you are still printing 2,000 brochures every year, save the money, recycle the content and put your money toward a really killer web video. If you’d like to talk to some of our team members about your marketing strategy, we will be happy to sit down with you and provide a free assessment.
Put your website through sales training.
Your website has heaps and tons of potential to gain business for you. If you aren’t quite ready to touch base with a marketing team, you can get started on your own by taking a few simple steps:
- Make sure your web content is current, exciting, and relevant to your target market.
- Make it easy for website visitors to contact you.
- Think strategically about how you can direct traffic on your website to inform and engage your visitors.
Remember… your website can be your best salesperson. Too busy to take care of it yourself? We know a guy. Well, several guys (and gals), actually.
Update your logo.
A dated or poorly crafted logo can hurt your business more than you realize. Accidental branding happens… but don’t let it happen to you. This spring, take the time to really take a fresh look at your logo. Ask trusted customers what they think of your logo. Ask people who you want to be customers what they think of your logo. Doodle up some ideas for a new or revised look. Maybe you decide a change isn’t necessary, but since your logo is the face of your business, it’s important to take the time to make sure your branding is making a powerful, positive impact.
Spring your marketing into action.
